Application of Energy Storage Active Safety Technology in New Energy Power Systems

Abstract
In the acceleration of the transformation of the global energy structure, the position of new energy power generation in the energy supply has become increasingly prominent. However, its power generation process is prone to interference by external natural factors, and the new energy power system often has the problem of power supply interruption or high volatility, which has an adverse impact on the overall safety and stability of the power grid. Energy storage technology, as a key means to balance the load of the power grid and ensure the stability of the power grid in the new energy power system, is very important to maintain the stability of the power system and ensure energy security. However, the safety challenges facing the energy storage system cannot be ignored, and with the continuous improvement of the installed capacity of the energy storage power station and the increase of the battery series voltage, the risk is becoming greater and greater. Starting from energy security, this article introduces active safety energy storage technology into the new energy power system, aiming to solve the technical defects of system power supply through multidimensional energy storage technologies such as active risk source identification, active fault prevention, active accident linkage technology, active EMS, active PCS, active BMS, and active intelligent inspection. At the same time, these technologies work together to manage the entire life cycle of the new energy power system, form active safety control capabilities, and ensure the safe and stable operation of the energy storage electrical system and energy storage battery system.
