Abstract:
For high-altitude railway regions with abundant renewable energy resources but limited feasibility for public-grid extension, power supply during construction and operation commonly faces challenges such as weak grid support, insufficient power-supply reliability for stations and trackside sections, and the absence of reliable backup power sources. To address these issues, this study proposes a wind–solar–hydrogen–storage microgrid system suitable for high-altitude railway scenarios. Focusing on the requirement for a stable power supply under stochastic fluctuations in wind and photovoltaic generation, a simulation model is developed, consisting of photovoltaic arrays, wind turbines, battery energy storage, electrolyzers, hydrogen storage tanks, fuel cells, and inverters. Furthermore, an energy management strategy based on power balance is designed.
