Abstract:
To address the challenge of balancing operational safety and efficiency in converter stations due to dense equipment and interwoven structures, this paper proposes a dynamic construction and warning method for three-dimensional electronic fences of irregularly shaped energized spaces based on equipment operating status. A high-precision 3D realistic model of the converter station is constructed using laser point cloud scanning, and the energized status of equipment is accurately perceived through multi-source data fusion. According to safety distance specifications for different voltage levels, multiple independent irregular safety zones are merged into a unified and continuous 3D electronic fence boundary using algorithms for Boolean merging of irregular spaces, spatial clipping, and boundary optimization, thereby generating three-dimensional safety domains and graded warning domains for energized equipment. Combined with ultra-wideband (UWB) 3D positioning, real-time monitoring and graded intelligent warning of the energized distance for workers and vehicles are achieved. Field application demonstrates that the proposed method fully covers safety blind spots in irregular spaces, with a monitoring error of less than 5 cm and an alarm accuracy exceeding 98%. This approach significantly improves the operation and maintenance efficiency of converter stations while ensuring personnel safety, providing a feasible technical solution for three-dimensional safety protection in converter stations.
