Analysis of a ±500 kV Converter Station AC Filter Detuning Event

  • 摘要: 分析了南方电网某±500kV换流站频繁发生交流滤波器失谐保护异常告警事件的原因。首先,分析了交流滤波器支路触发失谐告警的原因是12次谐波的异常增大;其次,基于PSCAD/EMTDC搭建的换流站电磁暂态仿真模型,分析了不同滤波器组合运行方式下的频率阻抗特性,表明在某些特定运行方式下系统存在12次并联谐振点,同时在交流滤波器合闸过程中产生的涌流中存在12次谐波分量;最后,探讨了交流滤波器失谐保护定值,分析了保护定值整定存在不合理。

     

    Abstract: This paper analyzes the causes of frequent abnormal detuning protection alarms in AC filters at a ±500 kV converter station of China Southern Power Grid. First, it is found that the detuning alarms of AC filter branches are mainly triggered by an abnormal increase in the 12th harmonic component. Then, an electromagnetic transient simulation model of the converter station is established in PSCAD/EMTDC, and the frequency–impedance characteristics under different filter switching configurations are analyzed. The results show that, under certain specific operating conditions, a 12th-order parallel resonance point exists in the system. Meanwhile, the inrush current generated during AC filter energization contains a 12th harmonic component. Finally, the setting values of the AC filter detuning protection are discussed, and it is concluded that the existing protection settings are unreasonable.
