Abstract: To address the large thermal inertia, multiple disturbances, and bed-temperature deviations caused by abrupt load changes in a circulating fluidized bed boiler, a dual-channel model describing the effects of coal feed rate and main steam load on bed temperature is established. A linear active disturbance rejection control method combining load feedforward with residual-disturbance estimation is proposed. Validation using a DG410/9.81-II1 boiler shows that, compared with conventional LADRC, the proposed method reduces the maximum temperature drop, root mean square error (RMSE), integral of absolute error (IAE), and integral of time-weighted absolute error (ITAE) by 10.25%, 11.78%, 9.02%, and 4.46%, respectively. The controller remained stable in all 64 sensitivity tests and 60 sets of random parameter perturbations, indicating improved load-disturbance rejection and parameter robustness.
