Abstract: This paper presents a case of a cable grounding fault caused by poor workmanship in the fabrication of a cable intermediate joint. Through theoretical analysis of the test results and on-site verification, the cause of the fault was accurately identified. The paper also provides methods for locating cable grounding faults and preventive control measures, offering a reference for industry peers in solving similar problems.
