Abstract:
With the accelerated development of the power spot market, factors such as electricity prices and loads have an increasing impact on the profits of power trading companies. This paper selects the Hubei power market as the research object. First, it introduces the power purchasing, power selling, and profit models of the power trading company. Then, it presents the mathematical derivation process of four trading strategies in various scenarios for the power trading company and demonstrates these strategies using real-world examples. Finally, the paper proposes suggestions for trading strategies for power trading companies participating in the spot market.
