Abstract:
To meet the demands of new energy vehicles (especially those with high-voltage platforms) for efficient, stable, and high-quality power supply from charging piles, a dual-loop control PWM rectifier scheme suitable for 800 V high-voltage charging scenarios is proposed. By establishing the
dq coordinate system mathematical model of the three-phase PWM rectifier, a dual-loop control structure with a voltage outer loop and a current inner loop is designed. The parameters of the PI regulator are optimized using the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to achieve precise and stable 800 V DC bus output and unity power factor operation of the grid-side current. The MATLAB/Simulink simulation results show that under rated charging power, load changes, and grid voltage fluctuations, the DC output voltage of the rectifier remains stable at 800 V, with voltage ripple less than 1%, the total harmonic distortion (THD) of the grid-side current as low as 1.16%, and a dynamic response time of less than 60 ms. This can meet the core technical requirements of high-voltage fast charging for new energy vehicles.
