Analysis and Handling of Abnormal RSO Data of a Generator Rotor

  • 摘要: 发电机作为发电厂的核心设备,其转子绕组的健康状态直接关系到机组的安全稳定运行。某发电厂发电机在检修预试期间,RSO(重复脉冲)测试数据显示转子绕组可能存在匝间短路故障,但后续多项补充试验数据与该诊断结论相悖。通过阐述异常数据排查的全过程,探讨了RSO测试在转子绕组匝间短路诊断中的局限性及综合判断方法。排查思路和处理经验可为同类发电机转子绕组故障诊断提供重要借鉴,对于保障机组安全经济运行具有实际指导意义。

     

    Abstract: As the core equipment of a power plant, the health status of the rotor winding of a generator directly affects the safe and stable operation of the unit. During the maintenance and pre-test period of a generator in a certain power plant, the RSO (repetitive pulse) test data indicated that there might be an inter-turn short circuit fault in the rotor winding. However, subsequent multiple supplementary test data contradicted this diagnostic conclusion. This paper elaborates on the entire process of the abnormal data investigation and discusses the limitations of the RSO test in diagnosing inter-turn short circuits in rotor windings and the comprehensive judgment methods. The investigation approach and handling experience presented in this paper can provide important references for the fault diagnosis of rotor windings in similar generators and have practical guiding significance for ensuring the safe and economic operation of the units.
