Abstract: Empty pallets are widely used in modern manufacturing logistics industry. Many enterprises still use manual to split empty pallets into single pallets, which is inefficient and labor-intensive. In order to improve production efficiency and reduce the cost of employing people, a PLC-based empty pallet separation device is designed, and its hardware components and control logic are described in detail. The application results show that the device can stably and automatically disassemble pallets.
