Comprehensive Assessment Research on the Remaining Service Life of Rail Vehicle Cables

摘要: 电缆在电力系统中至关重要,其老化问题一直是研究重点。针对市场上某主流电缆,开展加速热老化试验和护套耐酸碱试验,通过机械性能试验,探究其在不同热老化温度下的性能变化。结果表明,电缆断裂伸长率随热老化温度变化有规律。利用时温叠加原理计算得到Arrehenius方程参数b和活化能实际值,结合断裂伸长保留率建立寿命模型。通过护套耐酸碱后断裂伸长率分析验证模型准确性,全面评估电缆性能。研究发现,热老化后电缆力学性能显著减弱,断裂伸长率降低,从热老化角度看,电缆附件理论运行寿命约为2.85年。Abstract: Cables are of vital importance in power systems, and their aging problem has always been a research focus. This study focused on a mainstream cable in the market, conducting accelerated thermal aging experiments and acid and alkali resistance tests on the sheath. Through mechanical property experiments, it explored the performance changes of the cable at different thermal aging temperatures. The results show that the elongation at break of the cable varies regularly with the temperature of thermal aging. The parameter b of the Arrehenius equation and the actual value of activation energy were calculated by using the principle of time-temperature superposition, and the life model was established in combination with the retention rate of fracture elongation. The accuracy of the model was verified through the analysis of the elongation at break of the sheath after acid and alkali resistance, and the performance of the cable was comprehensively evaluated. The research finds that the mechanical properties of cables are significantly weakened after thermal aging, and the elongation at break decreases. From the perspective of thermal aging, the theoretical operating life of cable accessories is approximately 2.85 years.
