Abstract: This paper first analyzes the mounting methods of grounding rings and the application of drones in grid framework operations. Subsequently, it introduces the procedural workflow for drone-mounted grounding ring installation through an overall system design. The feasibility of the design scheme is demonstrated through the development and testing of a wire-peeling device and mounting mechanism. Finally, the paper provides prospects for future technological trends and applications in alignment with the development trajectory of power grid systems.
