基于φ-OTDR分布式光纤振动传感器的海底电缆应力动态监测

Dynamic Stress Monitoring of Submarine Cable by Distributed Optical Fiber Vibration Sensor Based on φ-OTDR

  • 摘要: 相位敏感光时域反射技术(φ-OTDR)因其出色的综合性能而成为目前主流的分布式光纤振动监测方法之一,通过监测海底电缆的内置光纤实现对电缆应变的动态监测。由于内置光纤与电缆受到的应变并不相等,因此通过实验验证了两者的差异,并分析了造成两者差异的原因。实验结果表明,采用φ-OTDR分布式光纤振动传感技术可有效得到光纤沿线各点的应变时间函数,能准确定位扰动点,应变坐标位置和数值的解析度可分别达1 m和4με。

     

    Abstract: Because of excellent comprehensive performance, phase-sensitive optical time-domain reflection(φ-OTDR) technology becomes one of the most mainstream of distributed optical fiber vibration monitoring methods. Through monitoring embedded optical fiber inside the cable, the strain experienced by the cable can be obtained. As a result of the difference between the strain experienced by the embedded fiber and the cable, the experiment is designed to prove and the reason is analyzed. Based on φ-OTDR, the strain function about time along the fiber is obtained, and the disturbance point is located. The resolution of position coordinates and values of strain is respectively 1 m and 4 με.
