Abstract: This paper aims at the safety issues of live working in the expansion and reconstruction projects of substations, and develops a height-limiting isolation device for live working intervals. It elaborates on the research background and current situation, and details the design and development contents of the device. Through the analysis of test effect diagrams, it is demonstrated that the device exhibits excellent performance in height adjustment and alarm response, which is of great significance for ensuring construction safety and improving work efficiency.
