大型水电站励磁变压器烧损原因分析

Analysis and Research on the Failure Reason of the Excitation Transformer in Large Hydropower Plant

  • 摘要: 励磁变压器是水电站励磁系统的重要组成部分,其通过三相全桥整流电路向转子提供励磁电流。在励磁变压器的实际工作过程中除存在大气过电压、故障过电压、操作过电压外,还将承受整流电路工作中产生的换相过电压,因此励磁变工作条件较常规电力变压器更恶劣,对其绝缘结构要求也更严格。对三起大型水电站DCB-9型励磁变压器高压侧绕组烧损事故进行分析,探讨该类型变压器烧损原因,希望对同类型的变压器预防该类事故提供借鉴。

     

    Abstract: The excitation transformer is an important part of the excitation system of the hydropower plant, that provides the excitation current to the rotor through the three-phase full bridge rectifier circuit. There are overvoltage exist during the using of the excitation transformer, such as atmospheric overvoltage, fault overvoltage, operation overvoltage, and it will also have commutation overvoltage produced by the rectifier circuit, so the work condition of the excitation transformer is worse than the normal transformers, the requirement of the insulation construction is stricter too. Three large hydropower plant accidents caused by HV winding failure of the excitation transformer with the type of DCB-9 is analyzed, the reason of the accident is researched, and it provide some experiences for the same type of transformer to prevent this kind of accident.
