Abstract: This article analyzes the three wire RTD principle of SEL protection devices and conducts actual measurements using a recording device. A simplified calculation formula applicable to on-site fault diagnosis is obtained. Based on this simplified formula, fault models for each motor are established to facilitate the identification of fault types and locations.
