Abstract: An introduction was made to the situation of the trip of the 220 kV II Xiangshan-Suyuan power supply line, and the preliminary analysis indicated that the trip was caused by the deviation of the composite insulator string and the breakdown of the air gap due to strong winds. Combining with the actual operation of the line, a verification analysis of wind deviation was carried out. Specific improvement measures and suggestions were proposed for the wind deviation issues of two or more parallel transmission lines in the same transmission channel in the micro-terrain and micro-meteorological areas, providing reference for handling wind deviation of transmission lines under micro-terrain and micro-climate conditions.
