Abstract: With a total length of 66 km, Fuwai I line is the most important communication channel in southern Chenzhou. Ordinary AC ice melting can not achieve long-distance line ice melting, mobile DC ice melting device because the ice melting current can not be compared with the world′s most advanced fixed DC ice melting device, the ice melting difficulty is quite large for a long time. Fuwai I line plays a very important role in Chenzhou area, and it undertakes the task of power supply in this area. Especially in winter, the snow and ice weather is frequent, and the ice melting work is particularly critical. As one of the most important 220 kV lines in Chenzhou, Fuwai I line has a direct bearing on the normal operation of the power grid.
