Abstract: Building an energy supply system with clean and low-carbon energy as the main body and building a new power system are the key measures to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality. The power system has changed from fossil energy to clean energy, facing multiple challenges and changes such as new balance system, complex safety mechanism and cost grooming mechanism. According to the structural characteristics of Qingyuan power grid in Guangdong province and the development and access of large-scale new energy, this paper puts forward some discussions and suggestions for Qingyuan power grid to adapt to the development of new power system.
